Eligibility: Must be currently employed in a dental office located in Oregon. Prior dental assisting experience is not required. Access to a computer and a stable internet connection is necessary for completing the online coursework.
This program consists of 30 hours of online coursework and 16 hours of in-person lab instruction, scheduled across two Fridays. This comprehensive training is designed to prepare students for the Radiation
Part One: Online Coursework
The didactic portion consists of ten self-paced online modules. The online portion must be fully completed prior to attending the in-person labs.
Part Two: Hands-On Clinical Training (In-Person)
The in-person lab component is scheduled across two Fridays and provides practical, hands-on clinical training.
Please note that students must successfully complete part one and part two to receive the Oregon Credential Certificate in Radiology Proficiency which is required to apply for the Oregon Radiologic Proficiency Certificate.
After the program fee is received, students will be granted access to the online coursework, and their lab sessions will be scheduled accordingly.
